WHAT WE BELIEVE

How we approach nutrition care

Start from real life

Plans begin with the food you already eat and the routine you actually have, including home cooking, takeaway, family meals and social events.

Evidence-based, not trend-based

Our advice follows current evidence and Australian guidelines rather than fad diets or quick fixes.

Small changes, consistently supported

Weekday follow-up helps you put advice into practice and adjust when things do not go to plan.

Working alongside your health team

We complement, not replace, the care you receive from your GP, specialist, midwife or other health professionals.

OUR APPROACH

Five areas we look at together

Our Eatri framework looks at five connected areas of daily life, so your plan reflects the whole picture rather than calories alone.

DIET

Your eating pattern, meal timing, preferences and the foods that keep you satisfied.

ACTIVITY

Realistic movement that fits your fitness, health and schedule, without chasing intensity.

SLEEP

How sleep and routine affect your energy, appetite and food choices.

BODY

Health check results, medical history and individual differences, so plans are not one-size-fits-all.

STRESS

How stress can affect appetite and eating, with referral to your GP or a mental health professional when needed.

HOW OUR CARE WORKS

Who does what

Each client is supported by a small care team, working alongside the health professionals you already see.

01

Your dietitian

Assesses your needs, sets priorities with you, designs your nutrition plan and reviews your progress.

02

Your nutrition support team member

Works within the plan your dietitian sets, following up on your meals on weekdays and helping you put it into practice. Support team members are not Accredited Practising Dietitians.

03

Your GP, specialist or midwife

Remains responsible for diagnosis, tests, medication and medical treatment. With your consent, we can work in line with their advice.

OUR TEAM

Meet the team

Our APDs work with China-based nutrition support team members to provide nutrition services. Academic and professional advisors in nutrition and food science support the team through academic guidance, professional knowledge and service development.

Our related nutrition and weight-management services began in China in 2014. Nutrition Joy Health Pty Ltd now delivers online services in Australia. We focus on practical, food-first guidance that reflects Chinese eating habits and Australian everyday life. Nutrition support team

An Australian Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) is responsible for professional nutrition assessment, the development or review of personalised nutrition plans, and key matters requiring professional judgement.

A China-based nutrition support team member provides practical weekday meal follow-up and day-to-day nutrition support, with matters requiring further professional assessment referred to the APD.

The nutrition support team works collaboratively under APD professional oversight.
